All Natural Baking with Miss Jones Baking Co.

While looking at the boxes of brownie mix at the grocery store, I was shocked by how many ingredients were added that I couldn’t pronounce. Luckily, there is a brand of cake mixes and frosting that is changing the game with all natural ingredients.

Miss Jones Baking Co. has a line of organic mixes and frosting that has all the homemade taste you love but without all the junky ingredients.

Meet Sarah Jones

The company is founded by Sarah Jones who is the former Food Editor at Brit + Co., an online media company based in San Francisco.

Sarah loved to bake, but was disappointed in the cake mixes she found at the grocery store.  She knew that there had to be other people who felt the same way. And she was right!

The line is small but has all the mixes and frosting you need for a great tasting dessert.

Today, I am baking with the fudgy brownie mix, paired with the limited edition peppermint frosting.

When it comes to my baking, simple is best.

All I need is a gooey brownie and a dash of frosting to make me happy.

Apparel Line

Miss Jones Baking Co. also came out with an adorable apparel line that lets everyone know who the baker is in the family. You might have seen their sweatshirts in the Super Bowl Commercial with Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg.

This Bake It Easy sweatshirt has been on repeat in my wardrobe. It’s incredibly soft.

  1. It’s great to see a packaged good without so many long-winded ingredients. We haven’t used a baking mixture in years because, quite frankly, I’m scared of what could be in them. But Miss Jones sounds like a great line. I’ll definitely be having a look at them for my future baking.

  2. Those sound amazing!! I like baking from scratch just bc of all the crap in boxed mixes typically. This sounds like the perfect mix for me and it would save so much time. Love the sweatshirt too by the way.

This was actually surprisingly interesting! I do not eat anything store-bought to tell the truth! Usually we try to cook everything from scratch because maintining a healthy diet is a huge priority for my family! Even when it comes to treating ourselves, hahaha! And who doesn’t love brownies? I was so surprised to read about this brand – it’s so great that they are making an effort to make it all natural ingredients! 😀

That is incredible that you don’t eat anything store bough. I wish I could have that ability to cook everything from scratch. I try for the most part, but sometimes I need to substitute items!

I LOVE baking, but lately have been trying to switch to healthier options for me and my family. I’m definitely going to have to try those. What’s not to love about chocolate especially when it’s organic?
