San Francisco Day Trip

It’s been years since I have lived in San Francisco. But since we live just outside the city, it’s so easy to visit for the day.

I just found out that Allbirds has a store in San Francisco, so I made it a point to stop by there first.

What I love about San Francisco is the culture, gorgeous scenery, and lots of fun shopping. What don’t I love about the city? The bathroom situation.

Unfortunately, finding a clean public bathroom can be quite a challenge in San Francisco! Luckily, I got a handy tool that helps me find the cleanest bathrooms around.

Good2Go

Good2Go is a mobile phone app that allows you to find the closest public restroom near you. All of the bathrooms are clean, all-gender, and have baby changing stations.

In each launch city, Good2Go works to bring visibility and support to a local non-profit who shares their commitment to providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene for everyone.  As a part of their community focus, Good2Go partners with an SF based non-profit called Lava Mae, dedicated to providing access to showers to restore  dignity among those experiencing homelessness in San Francisco.

How to access Good2Go bathrooms

1. Download the mobile app on Apple or Android
2. Activate your account and take advantage of the free trial
3. Join the virtual queue for the bathroom
4. Gain access to the bathroom by scanning your phone

Let’s just say, this app is pretty perfect if you are in San Francisco. No need to worry about gross bathrooms again

I am excited to see where Good2Go is going to launch next. I imagine this is going to be amazing for traveling to new cities.
