I remember that I was once at Kiehl’s in the mall when they asked if I would be interested in their hydration test. This is not to be confused with dryness which means the skin is not producing enough oil. It was when the kind woman who was taking my test, gave me a bottle of water and said that my skin was very dehydrated!
I had no idea drinking plenty of water played a huge part in my skin’s hydration. But since that day, I try to drink as much water as I can throughout the day.
I always start my day by making a cup of coffee, but to go along with my coffee, I bring a bottle of Himalayan Water to my desk.
When I head off to the gym, I always check my bag twice to make sure I have packed my water. I found that I reach for my water more often if it’s really cold!
This month, I have also tried to go on long walks (at least 30 minutes) with Mochi to help aid in his weight loss. Since he is getting a bit older, the scale was slowly increasing each time he was at the vet’s office. It may not seem like much to us, but he tacked on 5 pounds in the past couple of years.
We both like to celebrate with cold water when we get home from the walk! If you have never met Mochi, you should know he loves extra cold water.
What are some of your favorite tips on how to stay hydrated during the day?

Hey Lauren, I was just randomly going through Google and landed on your blog article about “Best Laptop for Blogging.”
I did loved the article and the points you mentioned, however I quickly realized that the article was about a year old.
However I stuck around to find other articles on your site because I actually loved your writing style.
Personally, I’m a fat person who is trying to slim down, and to avoid my hunger pans every half and hour, I keep a 1-liter bottle with me every time and take a sip whenever my stomach demands food.
This way I avoid eating more and it helps me stay hydrated as well!
Thanks for this post and keep up the good work!
Hi Lauren!
Love your writing style and your research level for this topic. Although, I have one problem with this approach 🙁
Whenever I feel hungry and drink water on empty stomach, I start feeling nausea and sometimes headache.
Can you extend this article by writing a solution for this as well please?
Thanks and keep the good work.
Hi Jenilia,
As I am not a doctor, I cannot provide a suggestion for you. Please reach out to your doctor for assistance on this issue. Have a good day!
Hi Lauren,
Thank you for the post. I believe drinking water will help you detox your body and flush out the chemicals that you inhale and intake .
