Last weekend Nancy and I had tickets to the Stanford vs. Oregon State game, thanks to Toyota. Even though I went to Chapman University, I had always envied colleges that had a huge football presence. Well on Saturday, I got to live out my dream and attend a Pac 12 game.
After picking up Nancy and getting some much-needed coffee, we headed to Stanford. Since we live in the Bay Area, Stanford University was not too far of a drive.
To complete our football experience, Toyota was kind enough to provide a fabulous Toyota 4Runner for our tailgate party.
With the extra large trunk space, the 4Runner is the perfect car for tailgating. Of course, no tailgate party would be complete without a picnic!
After some tailgating fun, we headed over to the Fan Fest area for some food and drinks. I didn’t know what to expect, but there were TONS of people all in red and white who were BBQing, playing games, and getting ready for the game.
Once again Toyota elevated our experience by providing tickets to the VIP area!
We were having some fun while snacking on chips & guac (and sangria!) when all of a sudden the Stanford University marching band came by.
Then it was time to head to our seats!
The Stanford football team did not let us down and we won 26-15 against Oregon State University.
Check out the video Nancy shot in the vlog below.
Many thanks to Toyota for giving us such an amazing experience. To check out the 4Runner we drove to the game, see it here.
