Holiday Gift Ideas Made With Cricut Joy

This post is sponsored by Cricut. All opinions are my own.

With Christmas just two weeks away, it’s crunch time for gift ideas. Consider this your guide to holiday gift ideas made with Cricut Joy.

It’s been almost a year since I first received my Cricut Joy. As someone who loves to craft, but is short on space in my home, it was the perfect machine for everyday projects.

What is Cricut Joy?

Cricut Joy is a compact cutting and writing machine. It was released in early 2020 to join the Cricut line-up of machines: Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore Air 2. The compact machine is about half the size of Cricut Explore and Cricut Maker.

It’s pared down a bit from the other Cricut machines, with a single blade and pen holder.

What can Cricut Joy do?

You can create a little joy in just minutes, including:

  • Organization labels for your pantry, storage bins, etc.
  • Adhesive vinyl decals for mugs, tumblers, phone cases, and more
  • Wall decals and borders
  • Iron-on vinyl decals for shirts, tote bags, onesies, etc.
  • Cardstock cards, banners, and party decorations

Who would love a Cricut Joy?

Cricut Joy is the perfect companion for those who already own a Cricut machine (multiple crafting projects going at the same time!) or wants to get their foot in the door with machine-aided crafting.

I hear from friends who are hesitant about getting a Cricut because it may seem intimidating or they are stumped on what to make once they receive the machine.

I am here to tell you – Cricut Joy sparks creativity! From organizational projects (label-making!) to DIY projects (making t-shirts!), you will find lots of projects to make with your Cricut Joy.

If you have a teacher, small business owner, crafter, parent, or just anyone who could use a spark of joy during quarantine, this is the gift!

I can share the full tutorial on how to make these pillows in an upcoming post!

Custom holiday coasters

This was the first project I was intimidated to make, but the one I am most proud of! Infusible Ink allows you to heat transfer ink onto base materials. Instead of vinyl that might peel up, fade, or crack, the ink is smooth to the touch!
